Anchor Clues
- Start at the back corner of the building with the goldfish pond on your right and the building on your left.
- Walk past the A/C unit on the left and follow the grass path.
- Just before the paved road, make a right to stay on the grass path.
- Pass the “Colorado Blue Spruce” sign on the right.
- Cross the gravel road (look both ways!) and continue to follow the grass path as it curves left.
- Pass the “Things That Don’t Belong” sign on the left.
- At the T junction, go right and stay to the right, passing the bird house box on the right.
- Walk past the “Royal Paulownia” sign on the right.
- Take a left at the “What’s for Dinner” sign.
- Take another left at the “To You and Me a Brush Pile is a Sight for Sore Eyes but to Wild Critters it is Paradise” sign.
- Pass the “Tartarian Honeysuckle” sign on the left and continue straight.
- Turn left at the “Hawthorns” sign.
- Take a left just before the pavilion.
- Turn right at the T junction and turn left just before the pavilion – the post you seek is here.
- Walk past the “Eastern White Pine” sign on the right and go up a slight hill.
- At the gravel road, make a left.
- Follow the gravel road for several yards and turn right onto the grass path, walking between two large, low shrubs and walk up a slight hill.
- Just past the “River Birch” sign on the right, follow the grass path to the left.
- Continue on the grass path until you have returned to the parking area.
