Clues for Your Hike
- If the gate is closed, you may still enter the park by parking along West Washington Street next to the sidewalk.
- Walk around the boulders on the mulch or proceed through the gate and follow the gravel path toward the soccer fields, keeping the Conococheague Creek on your right.
- Continue to the end of the parking area and cross the grassy section toward the cinder path, again following the stream on your right.
- Stay on the path as it curves left; you will pass a bench on the right, then another bench with a plaque donated by the Chambersburg Lions Club.
- Continue forward until you see an additional bench on your left. The post is on a tree beside that bench.
- To return to your vehicle, proceed along the path until you reach a fork, then take the left path heading toward the nearby residential area.
- At the end of the path, turn left to remain on the public walkway and follow it back toward the parking area.
