    Clues for Your Hike

    1. Park near the park entrance and enter the paved path to the right of the entrance, with the basketball court behind you. The flagpole will be on your right as you enter the path.
    2. The path will curve right with a fence on your left. Continue to follow the path as it curves around a baseball field and heads toward a large playground area.
    3. Walk past the pavilion and a second parking area, heading toward a smaller playground on your right.
    4. Just past the playground, stay straight on the path into the woods. The post will be ahead on your left.
    5. Continue on the path in the same direction and stay right on the path toward the open field.
    6. At the T, turn left and follow the path back to the parking area.

    Did You Know?

    • Triceratops is Greek for "three-horned face" but actually only had two genuine horns; the third was on the end of its snout and was made from a soft protein.
    • The Triceratops is recognized by its enormous skull, which could easily measure a length of over seven feet.
    • Triceratops was considered food for the T-Rex.
